Saint Laurent has announced their Fall 2020 collection with a bold new film. The David Sims-directed campaign, which showcases designs from creative director Anthony Vaccarello, uses a monochrome colour palette and impressionistic lighting to provide a sleek and stylish platform for the new season.

We licensed the track ‘Shut Me Down’ by Rowland S. Howard for the film. The Australian artist made his name as the guitarist of the Nick Cave-fronted post-punk band The Birthday Party, and his brooding Americana piece lends a powerful gravitas to the black-and-white edit. As model and singer Rosé’s silhouette comes into full view at the climax, swirling strings and Howard’s booming voice provide a dynamic crescendo.
